TD install pics, dissapointing.
whats up guys, so i got my dual exhaust welded yesterday. im happy with the exhaust except for the the hangers that bolt do the rear seat wells-it looks like they didnt put them up near high enough, as the exhaust starts to droop towards the rear and its barely 4 inches above the ground. it seems to me if i drill new holes inside the car that i can raise these hangers up quite a bit, correct? advice please. im happy with how snug the exhuast is up around the headers and cats...but it just drops off.
p.s., the guy took off my rear sway bar, saying that it would not fit with the exhaust...i think because they put the hangers far too low.
under car-headers (this pic will NOT rotate for some reason)
under car-half way back, fake cats.
under car, drooping mufflers.
passenger side hanger, too low?
driver side hanger, same thing..

they say the exhaust wont fit with the sway bar when the car is lifted, that its in the way. this doesnt make any sense, i bought the exhaust off another member with an 00 comaro...these guys blow.

My car is lowered 2" or so and I wouldn't make it 5 blocks before the exhaust would be ripped off...take it back, that's a drag, but you gotta man..

i know i shouldnt be stuck with this but what if i take it back and they still say the sway bar wont fit with the exhaust? im pretty sure i can raise the rear hangers(i'd say by the pics it looks like ATLEAST 2 inches) making room for the bar and just do it myself...but this whole thing is BS.

i would go back and make them fix it right, and remind them that removing the rear sway bar is dangerous and probably illegal in most cases because it makes the vehicle unsafe for driving on the road.

i would go back tell them first off put the sway bar on, second they did a shitty job with welding and i dont know what they **** they did to the connection to your headers, and third check your pinch welds and see if your fender is sticking out b.c they did jack it up wrong and you can tell by the pinch weld being all bent to hell. Horrible shop and i would just get my money back and go somewhere else, and also report them and if there is any damage to your car make them pay for fixing it.
