Need to quiet down my exhaust..

My Loudmouth used to sound ok when I had a cam only car. Now I have a h/c 370 with a D1 on it. All I have is Pacesetter 1 3/4 headers, 3" Y-pipe (no cats) and a LM resonator. I am trying to get some ideas on what I can change to. I was thinking of maybe getting a Moroso Spiral Flow in place of the LM resonator. Would that quiet it down a good bit and not be so damn raspy. Since I changed motors my exhaust is just plain annoying to me now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. -Cody

alot of people like the borla xr1. I got tht to replace my lm1 just havent put it on yet. they say it takes away alot of the rasp. But its 140 for the muffler

I put some resonator tips on mine, they smoothed it out quite a bit, course mine probably wasnt as loud as yours is now, but I was suprised how much it helped.

Glad to see I'm not the only one looking to go quieter, I am actually considering putting the cats back on to help with the sound and the raw gas smell.

Just did a spiral flow on mine and I think it is quieter than it was with cats, manifolds and an LM1. Still sounds badass at WOT.

Well I wanna keep my Center mount exhaust. So should I just leave the LM resonator on and put a magnaflow muffler in the stock spot? Would that work?

i just installed pacesetter lts and have lm1 and its so annoying. my tune will help with some of the lug as i can change shift points but it is loud, cackles, and rattles bad, i need something to take it down a notch. the rattling is driving me insane and wide open is ridiculous loud. add cats or just a muffler?

I've heard the XR-1 sounds really good on the loudmouth in place of the stock muffler.
