Default F1 Racing flywheel!! For all who wanted to know..

This is what my Datsun sounds like with the F1 Racing lightweight flywheel that some of you have questioned out there.. for you who do not know, its that cheap 15lb ebay flywheel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOiHEyb0jek

Im definitely happy with the way it revs, I have yet to drive the car though, but that will come within the next couple days, so if you're interested.. stay tuned!

very interested man, i dont like the way the fidanza alum flywheels warp, and this one is like 160$ and only 2lbs heavier (15lbs) and shouldn't warp really ever, will be following this one! i've been looking at teh RPS clutch setup too, whole thing with clutch disc/pressureplate/flywheel is like 34 lbs, i think stock is what? 60+ or so

will also be very interested to get your thoughts on how much different it is to drive. ie how much harder from a stop? does it feel any faster at all? how much of a difference from stock is that rev? does it shift any faster or smoother?

looking at possible getting this same piece with a spec 3+ clutch

also, for what its worth, i put one of these in my little sister's honda crx, and it made a night and day difference and the piece was pretty damn trick looking, at least just by looking at it, certainly seemed like a well made piece, i think she has 1K miles on it so far and seems to be working great

Here is my first drive in it, you can tell if you turb the volume up, how snappy and reactive it is, I didnt drive it with the stocker so I cant tell a difference..

Turn the volume up on the 1st 2nd 3rd part and you can really tell.. along with the drive back down the road.

Enjoy!

Ive taken it on a couple more small and hard drives, and this flywheel is awesome! It really lets others know when you step on teh go pedal. Revs mean and fast and I have no complaints at all!! Along with my RAM clutch its seeming to be a killer combo.

Well, I just got done swapping out my Mcleod flywheel that was a whopping 28.8lbs and put in a Fidanza that is 12.4lbs. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to bleed the clutch after rebuilding the master cylinder but I did start the car a few times and it revs really well. Just a short blip and it's hitting 5k, granted, it's not moving, but before it wouldn't do that, but that's what taking over 16lbs off the crank will do.

34lbs for the clutch disc/pressureplate/flywheel sounds really really light. My Mcleod pressure plate and clutch disc was 24lbs and my Fidanza flywheel was 12.4lbs for a total of 36.4lbs. Any links to the setup?
