I just put in some pacesetter lts this week, I just sent the dipstick tube down, got under the car and felt around for the hole above the oil pan. It just slid in and I went back up, bent it slightly and bolted it in.

Go under the car and do it from there. You can see where it goes that way.

You think it needs a hard push to get it in but try this. Push on it real easy while moving it slightly around.

I just had the same issue when doing headers on thursday. Just get under the car and find where the dipstick goes back into the oil pan. I had about a 1/2" that I couldn't get pushed back in. I was getting really pissed then I just used WD-40 and it went right in.

Sometimes it also helps if you get on the bottom, and have a friend guide your dipstick in from the top.

I did the opposite, I had my friend put it in from the top, while I guided him from the bottom. Worked well.

However, owning a Passeo still puts you in the bin.

I just did mine a few weeks ago. Get it started in the hole, and twist and push until it stops. Mine stoped with about a 1/4 in left out, and just tapped it with a soft blow hammer till it seated.

Thumbs up

While a friend is watching and guiding from below. You really need to get ontop of it and really baredown on it. Put your hips into it. Just make sure that hes wearing protection....You wouldn't want to get anything in your friends eyes.....LOL....this is the funniest damn thread....
