Fuzzy Header gaskets?
I am swapping my headers and I pulled the driver's side tonight. I was gonna pick up some GM gaskets, but my friend got his Kooks headers for his GTO and they came with these black gaskets that are for lack of a better term, fuzzy. I think they are Percy's of some sort, and I think he said he'd just give them to me (he bought some GM pieces). Anyone using these? GM ones recommended over these? Thanks.

....I was directed to them by a local engine builder...all he uses is them and the SEAL-FOR-GOOD [something like that ]... Trending Topics
Anyone used the aluminum Flowtech's? All the local auto parts store had was Mr. Gasket paper's and the Flowtechs. I got the paper ones because the flowtechs were like 20 bucks and I didn't want to waste my money.
My collector bolts (all 3 of them) rattled out somewhere between leaving for the track and leaving the track last thursday. So yeah, the stock gasket went bye bye. I threw a paper Mr. Gasket one on there for now and it isn't leaking so far. Of course, it hasn't gotten wet either.
