Well they worked for me... ...I like them and I like the fact that you don't have to replace them sooner than cooper I believe but its mostly up to you and the maintanance of your car........But I heard iridium ones are better so I'll try those.....just my 02 cents...

I has bosch +4s in my car for a few weeks. With my stock cam I saw a number of misfires at idle... I went with NGK TR-55s, no mroe misfires. It only takes an hour to swap plugs, NGKs are my choice...

Stay away from anything bosch. i work for a dealer, and we constantly throw those things out for misfire complaints. definately go ngk over those pieces of crap any day.

No misfire problems for me. I'm on my 3rd set of Bosch +4's and replace them after 25,000 miles. Regular plugs wear out sooner than that.

No problems from Bosch +4 from me. Had them since the odometer read less than 2000. Now at about 70000, they still run like new but I'm changing them for the iridium NGK's, just 'cause I can.

STAY AWAY FROM THE BOSHCH PLATINUMS!!!!!!!! I've worked at an Advance Auto Parts now for over 2 years...and these suck...customers bring these in all of the time for being defective...I recommend the TR55's to everybody and so far no problems...TR6's if you have any type of power adders...take them out and return them...they have a 5 year warranty and the store should take them back...if not drop me a pm

I'm glad to see not everyone is brainwashed by Bosch's BS. If you talk to people who really know their stuff, like people working in the field everyday, they'll tell you these plugs suck. Don't listen to your ricer buddy down the street who'll buy anything that's bright and shiny.

THe +4's worked great for me when the motor was stock, no misfiring, yes I autotapped it.
since geting a cam though I have been getting some KR, think it may be from the plugs being too hot, heard of others having that same problem. went to TR6's the other day, havent had a chance to A tap yet though...

I can not tell you how many "do it yourselvers" use these plugs and bring their car to our shop with misfire codes/skipping problems. I love these plugs

Harder metals (platinum, iridium) hold more heat, or at least dissipate it slower...
I don't know how much of a performance difference it would make, but I've been running the regular NGK's. If I have to change them more often, it just gives me a reason to check out the top half of my motor really well for about an hour or so (and then when I finish with #8, I can move on to the others )
Maybe that misfiring is pre-ignition cause of a hot plug?

I put in TR55s and my throttle response when down the drain .... sluggish & unresponsive..... put it in the Bosch +4s and it picked right up again & better than the factory AC Delco platinum plug ...
i dont see all the hype with the TR55
changing plugs 3 times in a weekend is not my idea of fun
