I kno he could, but to me it defeats the purpous of having a larger intake/TB; you will only suck in as much air as the smallest diameter part of the intake setup. Might as well get as close to 92mm as possible. we r also going to debaffle his Ws6 hood; so that only helps!

Good work op! too bad you broke the OPS. I did remove my LS6 intake 2 times now, and the first time was a bit harsh, but the 2nd time was a breeze. I would suggest the 100 MAF before the tune, it will help with that 92 intake!

Anyone know how many fitment problems would be incurred by having the block decked .020 and 5.3l heads milled to 58cc? I had some problems getting the brass inserts to line up on the LS6 intake and had to modify them slightly for it to fit flush down against the heads. What alterations might be needed to get the FAST92 to fit correctly?

^ I dont have any experience with that, but common sense tells me that your going to have to rig something up if the LS6 didnt fit right at first either.

Can anyone advise if there are locating dowels on the fast 92? Getting ready to put my engine back together and don't see how the intake centers on the heads???? The gm intakes have dowels to center them but I don't see them on the 92.

I know that may sound like a lot but if you look up labor times for intake manifold replacement it pays 2.8 hours. So that's only $62.5 an hour, which is very cheap for a shop.

Sorry to highjack, just wanted to clarify.

You do not need dowels...the bolts will align the intake.
