Default AC-delco or Bosch

I have two new Ac-Delco (denso) oxygen sensors the Part numbers are: acd# 213-1568 GM#12569429 I belive they are form a 2004 Zo6... I am having issues with my O2s with 24inch ext being lazy and not working right after Pacesetter LT install... I have read alot of you guys say use Bosh 13111's and just bend the fins open a little more to allow more air flow... And i read some people say use Ac-Delco Stock ones... Well the ones i have are not the GM stock replacement they are for the 2004 Zo6... I did a search and the numbers only pulled two post up nothing that pertains to this... So to make a long story short will these work and would they be better than the 13111's....

Bosch are junk IMO. I bought 2 new ones, had them installed and they ran like ***. Immediately retuend them as defective and got 2 new ones from the dealer and everything was perfect again. Maybe they were defective, but they certainly sucked. They don't have the same amount of vents as AC-Delco, maybe thats why.

Factory new AC-Delco 02's $65.00 right side $75.00 left side

I have used the Bosch, with good luck. If you get them from Napa, they have a lifetime waranty, so you could take them back evey year if you needed to.. Good luck.

Been through all this for the past couple 2-3 years.

I had been running the 13111s. Last weekend I installed a new set of AC Delcos with 24" extensions. I haven't put any miles on it yet, but on my hand held scanner it looks like they are still sluggish. We'll see what happens, if a code to be set, but, unfortunately, I tend to think the problem is not with the sensors, rather it is some mysterious, hard to track problem elsewhere in the car.

Best of luck to you.

PS I did not vote in your poll as I have little to no clue what is causing this, but I doubt it's the sensors.

I vote for 13111 cause they usually last longer and can handle the header heat a little better

I'm constantly hearing of Bosch 13111's having problems. I've heard bad things about them from tuners. Take this into account: the AC Delco's come stock on these cars and I've never heard of them failing for tens of thousands of miles. People run them for over 100,000 miles all the time. They're a much better O2, no one should argue that. However, when mine go, I'd go with Denso's. They are cheaper than AC Delco's and they have awesome products.

I've had Bosch 13111's on 2 LS1's for thousands of miles with no issues.

i like to think of o2s like everything else: if your aim is longevity, go OEM. if your aim is performance, don't.

So who makes the OEM is it AC Delco or Denso? What would a performance O2 sensor be?

it was a very general statement. in this case, since all o2s are pretty much longevity only, go with OEM (denso is the best).

I forget how much the 13111s are, but I got a pair of AC Delcos for $135 shipped.

I always had problems with mine, stock replacements with extensions and 13111's I went through 8 sets in 10k. I went with NGK's with extentions and havent had a problem since.
