I just finished installing hooker longtubes and offroad y-pipe on my 2000 camaro Z28, and went to install my slp loudmouth exhaust and realized my pipe that goes right in front of the resonator and connects to the y pipe seems to be a too short to get a good seal, anyone else have this problem and does anyone have any solutions? Its all connected but it leaks a bit, and i was just curious if anyone else ran into this situation.

well a quick fix would be to go down to the local autoparts store and pick up a coupling the size that you need and slip the pipes into each other, plus with the coupler if its too long you can measure and cut one of the pipes to size

well, i did slide it out a little more but just not enough to make me feel comfortable about it. also the pipe in front of the resonator has a bend in it and by turning it is how you adjust the system. I was just curious if i took the pipe off if a muffler shop could match the bend, just make the pipe a little longer. any recommendations on better band clamps?

most any clamps work well either a band or a U type clamp just get them in stainless
