They 1st claimed it will be out by MID MARCH, now they claim sometime this Summer, Making 31 HP over what is already out there is very hard to believe. They also claim @ a cost of about 650.00. REMEMBER whey they use the majic words UP TO means the gains can be from 0-32 HP. I bet in most cases the gains if ANY will be around 12-15.

i would take 12-15 over the ls6 since i have ls1, that will be a big difference for me. also at 650 this should drive down the cost of the ls6 intakes because 400 hundred is a little much as someone already said in this thread.

So I wonder how these numbers are going to compair to FAST. Sounds like in the end they are going to be around the same gain! Maybe after they bring the warrior out and Trick Flow does the same, the Intake market will come down to earth a little. Cant wait to read more about this intake.

Most of the owners of a FAST intake car with a few bolt ons will receive gains in the area of 12-15 RWHP. With cam and heads around 17.5 RWHP is the average. The new Weiand intake will fall right in the same area or maybe a little less

If it was an engine dyno, netting fwhp, then that would mean that a 5.7L LS6 GTO only has 325 at the crank? Either the numbers are fabbed or its rwhp. Graph is also a little skewed, HP and TQ always cross at 5252rpm, its mathematical, not at 5375 like that above graph shows.

I will just wait until people have some real proof of how good this intake is. I really wouldn't mind running a lower revving cam to match that intake, but I want to know that this intake is better in the lower rpm range first.

Concerning all the talk about the operating range of the intake, I have never seen the advertised operating range of the LS6 or FAST.

I think what you will find is that they have the same upper range as this one but that doesnt mean you still cant make good top end power.

So basicly I think this one will be equal to the FAST and probably a tad better. If you look at the trumpeted design of the runners it looks like it will move more air. The runners look more "open"
