My guess is the ls6 is about 300 and is proven..this will be tad better once its gets out and tested but the price I bet will be close to 700 is my guess. So that point I think most people would just go fast..I hope i'm wrong i'm all about more choices for the consumer.

i own a fast intake 90 90 combo, and back when i put it on with stock manifolds, i would accelerate at wot and between 1000 to 3000 rpms i wouldnt feel the dif, but after 3500 my car started pulling my head back like crazy with the intake, then i put on some ARH lts and it was amazing, even my tuner said it pulls **** after 3500, for me if the street warrior out performs the fast, i will sell my fast intake, and get the street warrior, if it does better by 5 hp im keeping my stuff as is, nothing can beat a ported fast, that might be my next step with afrs, but im hoping i hear good things about the streetwarrior,

it is taking forever because the development of injection molds takes forever. my father in law is an engineer who designs and produces injection molds and he explained how lengthy the process is, especially if you are to be mass producing the item. the quality control on such a mold needs to be perfect. so from their prottype to the actual production mold can take a very long time. and if they had any kind of flaws or if the mold broke before they were able to produce enough of them, well then they are back to square one. so give them a break and just bare with the process. and i hope for their sake they put out one hell of a product...if not i see a chopping block in their future.

I have tried to contact Weiand via email and phone and have had no luck at all. I wanted to post to keep this thread up and going knowing there are a lot of people out there dying to get their hands on one of these.
