MAC cats/how do they flow compared to stock..

Do they flow as well as the stock GM ones? Thanks

Anyone with a MAC catted y-pipe that has experienced the difference between stock cats and the MAC cats? I heard they did not flow well but if it's the same as stock I'm ok.

I've heard it's worse.....the stock cats actually don't flow as bad as everyone thinks.

Conventional wisdom around this area is:
MAC headers and ORY are good: cheap, easy install, good clearance, solid gains, but they rust
MAC cats don't flow well at all.
This is second hand but from about a dozen local people and shops so it's worth considering.

May be a moot point. I looked on the Mac site last week and the catted Y-pipes weren't there anymore. Asked Fast Toys and they said Mac wasn't offering catted Ys, at least for now.
