MAF ?

Default MAF ?

Hey guys i was wonderin if a different MAF (GMAF) would make my car run on the rich or lean side. Ive heard it would run rich so if thats tha case wouldnt it work good with a power program like HPP3 or Predator

I've never heard of an aftermarket MAF that
makes you run richer. Most (including the
standard GMAF) do the opposite. To such a
degree that the Predator can't make up for
it with its limited adjustment range, unless
you get a custom tune made.

However, Granatelli has started advertising
a Predator that I believe is meant to work
better with the GMAF's (deliberate) mixture
error. But you'd best ask them about the
specifics, and listen with a critical ear.
