Default question about my magnaflow catback...

i had an exhaust shop put a magnaflow exhaust on my car almost a year ago. It was about 450$ which now im looking back now tha tive seen the prices of stuff and know a little more....and im wondering if I really have a magnaflow catback...

So I looked at my muffler...nowhere do I see a spot that says magnaflow on it. I know the mufflers usually say it on the top but mine doesnt. I know its stainless because its not rusting where everything else under the car seems to be(love nebraska :/ ). So now Im worried I dont have a magnaflow exhaust...not only that but that im also gonna have to buy a new catback when I get my 3" headers....I cant tell if its a 3" or not. The piping looks slightly bigger by the muffler, but the piping is rusty so im thinking im just seeing things because magnaflow is all stainless isnt it? The exhaust sounds like every magnaflow setup ive seen on ls1sounds without headers....but I just dont know

Im a little pissed because im really starting to think i didnt get what I payed for.

I know the pictures suck but im not sure where my digital camera is so my cell phone had to suffice...

See this last picture really looks to me like its most definitly not the 3" muffler since thats obviously the stock piping welded on there...

i dont get it though. it sounds exactly like every other magnaflow Ive heard and the car definitly performed better after it was put in which contradicts everything ive heard about flowmasters. God....what a downer. I guess Im now adding true duals to my list of things to save for. For the TSP true duals kit do I need to do any relocations? I heard something about a panhard bar relocation being needed for true duals.

Thats 100% flowmaster, its alumanized steel, if you look at a magnaflow its polished "mirror" stainless steel. I just took my flowmaster out 3 days ago and put in a magnaflow. Magnaflow is embossed on the top and bottom of the muffler. You can easily see the difference on Summitracing.com. DON'T accept that ****, the flowmaster is a piece of **** compared to the magnaflow I just put in. I would rather have stock then the FM.

ya thats why I thought it was stainless I just figured i had an unpolished.

I would go say something to the exhaust shop but i had this installed nearly a year ago. Can I really say anything after a year? I guess its kinda my fault for being dumb enough to blindly trust a shop that long
