180* stat
180* stat well i just had my tb ported and they went a tad too far. my a4 now idles 200rps higher all around (700 instead of 500 in gear and 900 instead of 700 in neutral/park). it doesnt hunt for idle while decl and it actually fixed my charging problem w/ the AC on at idle btw. i think that i somehow avoided p0507 although the car is throwing an SES but i think it has to do with my fan relays being dead.
anyway...i want to install a 180* stat and lower my fan on temps 10* all around to prevent overheating at idle/in traffic. is the stat worth it or should i just lower the fan temps?

Your stock 'stat is a 180 (roughly). So near complete

I recommend they turn on low about 1 degree above
your highway, cool weather ECT and high about 3
degrees above. Back the thermostat up, tight.
