Re: Finally took some pics of my exhaust
I was just about to ask if anyone runs a collector/cutout/cat setup. Did you do it your self? what (if any) problems did you run into? how much was it if you had it done for you?

I thought it was moving the location of the cats that compromised lagallity.
By the way, nice! I'm sure it sounds awesome.

I had the idea but I was nott he one that built it. I originally wanted to do it a little different. I would have prefered the QTP's to have been on the straight part of the cut out. I wanted the cats to come off the 45* angle. This would have allowed the exhaust to flow straight out the back with out having to make a turn.

It was not the cheapest Y-pipe to build, but I think it is well worth the quiteness. I'm trying to be somewhat compliant with the California smog Nazzis..

Nice set up, I am also trying to do something different with what I have. Not sure if I want to do dual cut outs or a single in the I-pipe.
Have you dynoed with them open and closed? If not can you tell a difference if you gain or lose power with them open?

Damn...that is a sweet little system you have there! How much did they charge you to fab up those little downpipes after the cutout? I really like that and I am getting my cutout installed this weekend. Any info on those little downpipes would be greatly appreciated!

In regards to how much it'd cost for the down pipes, I'm sure not more than $25-$50.. If they are installing your cut out ask them about it. I'm sure it's not much..
