Default o2 sensor unplugged

i had an o2 sensor come unplugged and car was running rough .... pluggged it back in and doesnt seem to be running the same as it was before. does it take a while for it to reset ? also since this happened its a little harder than normal to get into reverse now. any advice ??

No idea about the reverse. It should not affect the car after you plug it back in. Sounds like maybe a wire came out on the o2? Try looking there first

No idea about reverse but why not try reseting your PCM yourself and see if it makes a difference. Search for how to do it on here.

See if the harness got burnt/melted somewhere - the 02 sensors are on the same circuit as the MAF/skip shift/reverse lockout...check the ENG SEN fuse for an open.

eng sen fuse is blown.... would that be the problem with my reverse also ..... i hope ..... thanks for the advice probably would have never checked that !!!!

After my LT install that happened to me too.. Thought i messed up a wire or something.. I took off the upper console and shifter top and wd40'd all the shifter parts that moved and now it works like a dream.

replaced blown fuse changed spark plugs ......runs like a top .... fixed the reverse problem also . thanks guys yall are awesome . i was stressed out not having my ride

Good deal. Just being unplugged won't fry the fuse, so if it happens again look at the harness.

Man that is why i love this forum. I changed out my O2 sensor a week ago b/c it was shorting out but it still was not running right. I just went out and my eng sensor fuse was blown. I cannot wait to go for a drive tomorow and see if this helps out. I am sure it will. SO what does this fuse affect?
