Default LS2, LS1 and LS6 intakes

Don't know if this is a repost but I found it interesting. The LS6 intake outperforms the LS2 even with the 78mm throttle body. If links like this are forbidden then please delete it. Thanks.

LS6 Beats LS2 up top. There are cars running in the 9's using LS6 intake

If you search you will find that this known and why the LS6 intake is such a highly looked for item. They usually don't last very long in the 4 sale area.

the LS6 is probably one of the best intake manifolds ever produced by GM, just for what it can do all around

I know this and I am sure others do also but I had never seen an official test showing the differences. Like i said it may be a repost but I still found it to be interesting and I have seen a few posts here and other places asking what was the best intake.

LS6 is truly an awesome bang for your buck mod. Good gains on a near stock engine and there's people making big power with them too. For like $325 used you can't go wrong. FAST is going to have to wait a few years before they get my business.

Looking from the top (or if they are installed), you would not know that there was any difference except for the missing EGR port.. but if you look at the bottom of the LS6.. then you see that there is something difference.

You are correct. It is all in the shape of the bottom. I did notice that there are small plastic ribs that run from the front to the back. They are halfway between the top and bottom. I wonder if they are left overs from the molding processs or put in there intentionally.

Also, by looking at it it seems that the inside roof of the intake doesn't match the outside shape.
