Default Which Air Induction system is best

Which is better Fast Toys FTRA Ram air kit or the SLP cold air kit?
I'd like to find out considering the Fast Toys is $50 more.

FTRA is documented to have good results in several cases, search on it and youll find many many threads. As far as the SLP kit I havent heard anyone attest to its performance value.

FTRA!

I was able to find a used SLP cold air duct on ebay for $61 shipped and a new FTRA SLP Upgrade Kit in the classified section for $50 shipped. If you are not in a hurry look for some deals, if a few weeks pass with no luck then buy it new.
Also, I just checked ebay and there is a SLP cold air for sale right now. If you win that and have to buy the upgrade kit new you would still be saving money.

I use neither. Just a lid, but I have often pondered about the FTRA.

Default Ftra!

We have been selling the FTRA since 1998 and have a LOT of very happy customers. Not only will it improve performance, it will also improve your fuel economy!

That means the kit will eventually pay for itself

We have lots in stock. You can order online at our web site or call us toll free at 877-955-4896

Thanks!

call me stupid... but is there really a big difference between this and the free ram air mod by cutting the slot in the plastic above the radiator...?

Huge difference. The free air mod is just a cold air modification. It does not directly route air into the air box and it does not seal off the air box to allow any kind of pressurization effect. It also grabs air right off the radiator which is going to be warmer than air off the lower air deflector.
