How much to get o2 bung welded?

How much does it cost to get an o2 bung welded on?

Id like to go back to closed loop and still have a wideband.

Is it safe to have a muffler shop drill and install it with the pipe on the car? Im worried about the metal shavings. (assume they would blow right out)

I walked into the shop and said I've only got $10 bucks in my pocket.
said it's yours if you can drill and weld this into this spot right here.

Called Midas, 82$, took it to Doug's muffler, got it for 10 and gave em a tip.

$20 bucks for mine to get welded in at a exhaust shop that does custom work. Midas wanted $65 bucks I laughed and hung up.

I had mine welded in for 2 six packs of Smirnoff Ice..... best damn muffler shop in town.... LOL

Midas is off there rocker if they wanted $82 for a simple job like that.

I had mine done for $30 at a local shop. He griped about it being harder cause it was stainless.
