Default Fast 90mm vs Fast 92mm TB?

From what i've read in the past the 90mm Fast TB was garbage and the 90mm holley netted much better results. However has the 92mm fast TB changed that or would other tb's be a better choice to go with their new 92mm intake?

I'm not sure if it was garbage but they definately could have done a better job. Once the issues were worked out, not sure how another throttle body could provide better performance.

The 92 is way better. Better spring, attachment to throttle blade and linkage is much better, etc.

I mean in terms of pure power performance. I"ve yet to see someone who had a fast intake and a fast tb make more power than someone with a fast intake and a holley tb.

I never had a Fast 90.
I have the new ported 92 with the NW TB and loving them.
No issues except about a 20 rwhp gain
Got mine from Vengeance Racing.
If you want yours ported Vengeance produces a quality product.

You only made a 20 rwhp gain with 215's? ugh I was hoping from ron's #'s with that cam/header vette that there'd be more than 30rwhp gain on a mild head/cam car.

What is so crappy about the FAST 90MM TB? I have one and so far it is great. What issues are others having? This one has the brass finished Throttle plate.

I bought mine in Feb 06 and the only problem I had with mine was that it wanted to stick because of the slight crack for idle airflow at the bottom. FAST sent me another one because of it sticking and from what I can tell the replacement works fine but never had any other aftermarket TB to compare it to. Does yours have a hole drilled in it or does it have the slight gap at the bottom for airflow?

I had the revised Fast TB and it still stuck once and a while so they didnt get the problem fixed very well. I ended up replacing it with a Nick williams and have had zero issues with it.

It has hole in top portion of plate. Like I say brass color...I have seen others with SS color plates.
