Nah... I just drove it 10 mins back home and I'm guessing 20 more minutes to the exhaust shop next week, that's it... wish me luck

IMO since your setup isn't that radical, I'd just yank 'em out for the duration, and put them back in when you have the TDs. All you'll do is run open loop, and having just bolt ons, the car shouldn't run like total *** like it would if the 02s were on the fritz... just a thought.

I am interested in seeing how these headers hold up over time, also the dyno numbers.

Great job on the install and AWESOME job capturing the steps for everyone on the board!!

Thanks for sharing with us, I look forward to seeing your true dual setup.

PS - Tough looking Mustang.....

Last week i installed the same headers, i had to clearence the same as you. Other than that, they fit great, and i am satified with them. i had a custome y-pipe made for them and every thing fits and sounds really good.

Nice to see, mine should be getting here Wednesday. I'm planning on taking off the emissions tubes as well, and I will be fabbing up a y-pipe with a flowmaster merge. Hopefully I can get it all knocked out this Saturday, looks like it won't be too bad!

It kool you got some headers but, I bet it sounds like *** with just headers You do no you are losing hp and trq with not having any back pressure right? A stock car with open headers eeek You had toinstall some temp turndowns? WTF did you weld it and not just throw some band clamps??

Let's get real here. So I buy headers from somewhere else. Okay maybe they take car of my problem in a short period of time but most Hi-Po parts have zero warranty. So they crack or something? Think anyone will pay freight back and forth to you? I really don't know what would go wrong except maybe a crack but it would cost less and I would be happier just paying less out of pocket and have a friend weld it up right. It isn't a moving part either. Just my .002
