its a vacuum canister. not sure what it really does. found that line just hanging there on my camaro. really nice huh

It's a vacuum tank, the feed line should go back towards the check valve near the firewall. The LT1 cars have a similar setup.

If it is a vacuum canister.. it is most likely for reserve to assist with the HVAC controls

If it was a charcoal canister, it would have a line to the Fuel tank and to the PCV system or purge valve system.

hahaha i was being saracastic, actually theres no difference. Car runs fine and a/c is fine too. So I pretty much saved about .1 lbs

It actually weights about the same as a thick piece of paper but the more **** gone the better

Those gloves are kinda of thick and it's hard to really work with little things. Plus I get latex for free anyway.

it could possibly be a vacuum assist for cruise control?? late model chryslers use this type of setup....
