Default cut outs after cats... is it worth it?

i dont have any room to put cut outs before my cats because my cats are connected right to my long tubes. ive always thought cut outs were cool, but would it even be benificial as far as power and noise to put them on behind the cats?

It would definitely be louder if you opened it up after the cats, opposed to letting it run through a muffler... It won't be as loud as if you had before them, or if you didn't have them, but you should still be able to tell very easy.

I'd say just cut the cats out and have at it.. but I see you're from Cali..

obviously you will pick up some rwhp and of course it will be louder... just matters if its worth it on the pocket

...in the end if you gonna do that might as well do it the right way

+1 you will see some power with the cutouts . though you might want to look into another exhaust sytem or setup yours different for what you are wanting to do .

I have Pacesetter LT's and an ORY on my Z with a cutout and did notice a little more mid range and top end kick with the cutout open. However, I did it mainly for sound and wasnt expecting much as far as hp gains go. The placement of my cutout is directly under the rear passenger seat.

I cut a section out of my exhaust I pipe, right about under the backseat, and band clamped it in there.
