Changin Oil Pressure Sending Unit?
I am going to be changing my oil pressure sending unit probably tomorrow should I just follow the steps on Ls1howto.com? Anything else need to be done? New intake gaskets needed if so which ones would be best? Any other advice. Thanks

I will try it that way but if i can't get back there with it on i will have to take it off. Any brand of gaskets to avoid? Do i need to clean out the holes for where the bolts go if have to take out the intake or just leave em the way they are?

You don't have to pull the intake off, it makes it easier to get to obviously. Kragen or PepBoys sells a socket that's made to take it off. If you pull the intake you can use an open end wrench. And no you dont need any new intake gaskets, they're reuseable, just make sure nothing falls into the intake ports. You don't need to clean anything... just make sure you watch the wires from the knock sensors when you bolt the intake back down so you don't squish them / make the intake sit improperly.
Follow the LS1howto guide to changing it. The most important part is the torque sequence. First pass in order is 44 in/lb, second pass is 89 in/lb. Dont torque to foot lbs

A few weeks ago a friend of mine and I did the ls6 intake swap. Broke that damn oil pressure sending unit right off.
you can see it with the green harness plug on it. We did not notice it was broke till it was all back together and I started the car and no oil pressure. LOL OOPS
I think I got a 1in deep from autozone to take it off.

Uhh I managed to bend one of the intake bolts getting a socket stuck between the intake and the cowl. So we tapped off the socket and everything and the bolt bent there was no damage to the intake. Where can i get a bolt to replace it?
