Default Driver's side valve cover breather??

Just curious if anyone runs a breather on the driver's side valve cover. If so what part # or where to get. I plan to run a metco but I'd rather run two breathers instead of a hose connecting.

I thought the Metcos came in a set.....one each for the rear holes in the valve covers.....or are they desifned only for the oil-fill tube?
If the Metcos are only for the oil-fill tube, where can I get a pair for the rear valve cover holes(PCV vents)?

In the back of the driver's side valvecover?

Don't do it.

My car would smoke out of there on accel/decel like you would not believe the oil in the head is only like 1.5 inches lower so it slops out on decel and will drip from the breather.

I ran a pcv from there into a house and plumbed it into the passenger side... and then ran a line to a catch can from the passenger side.

Just to add, I kept a fire extinguisher with me at the track and at the Speed Inc. dyno, because it smoked so badly.

I like the catchcan because, when I had a metco breather on the passenger side front, it would also get soaked and it would drip oil once in a while.

I've had my Metco breather for 15k and have not had any oil acumulate on it. Hey PSJ did you mount the breather on top of the VC tube or remove the tube and mount the adapter directly to the VC and the breather tillted to the side? I have seen it done both ways. (Mine is on top of the oil fill tube)

Well - on top of the oil fill tube looks like a smokestack from a steam train... But that won't drip probably because oil has to travel up like four inches... so it's like an old skool Mopar breather.

I had it right in the valve cover, I removed the oil fill neck.

When you futz with this stuff remember that oil is flammable.

For a while I had it like this:

pcv in driver's rear,
rubber hose to passenger side rear nipple,
rubber hose off of front nipple on passenger side,
going into small kn filter... I had the filter sitting on the fender so I could see how much oil came out.

You'd be better off running just the one on the pass side and running a hose between the 2 valve covers.
I also used to get some oil drops coming off the pass side breather and also noticed that the gases escaping from there had a definite "fuel smell" to them . I went back to the LS6 PCV/catchcan which still allows a little oil in the intake but at least you are not constantly worrying about a fire.

I run a metco breather on the passenger side valve cover and have had no problems out of it at all
