Any of you run a K&N or Holley without...
I have a Holley and FTRA and it get dirty fast, so if you clean if often enough?
What do you guys think?

It was Oiled properly about a week ago.
That's a good pic, but it's misleading. Put a flashlight against your hand and you can see the light coming "through" it. Filters are designed to catch particles at the micron level. I would expect light to pass through it.
Easy solution for over oiling.
After cleaning & re-oiling or when new, put the filter on a highly absorbant paper towel (3-5 min max)
Repeat for other side and voila! properly oiled filter with no extras, simple HUH.
After using this method i had much less deposits on MAF and TB, to the point that once a week I only used a light rag to just wipe the thing off.
