Just got my true duals installed!!! Pics Inside
I used two Spintech mufflers and I must say it sounds damn good, way better than any catback I have ever owned or heard. Its sooooooo deep I love it and no rasp at all (Thank the Lord!). I think the guys that did the install for me are going to post a couple of pics of the setup on the board a little later but the kicker is that I have a bmr track pak tq arm and this passes between the floorboard and the crossbrace and is still mandrel 3 inch exhaust. Also I have to give credit to the buys Brandon and Kirby that installed the exhaust as it is an excellent job (so neat and pretty). If anyone lives around the Tampa/Orlando area in Fl I highly recommend these guys for a custom true dual setup. Hopefully they will chime into this post with some pics.
Edit,, here is the link to some pics

Re: Just got my true duals installed!!!
did you get the pipes bent to fit over the rear axel? I have a true dual setup right now but I want to have it go out the back instead of dumps. I bought an off road X-pipe and 2 Dynomax Bullet Mufflers with mine. I am so sick of the damn rasp right now with the stock y-pipe running straight. I took off my custom borla exhaust we made because it was going to have to come off soon anyways.

P.S. Will you please post some audio so I can really hear that this true dual sounds like?

I do have the dumps but I'm telling you it sounds bad ***. Also I think if you go 3 inch all the way it is really difficult if not impossible to get ot over the rear axle. The best thing is that there is no rasp at all anywhere in the rpm band. I think this sounds about as close to a mustang as fbodily possible.

Awesome Mike...glad you liked it. Brandon and Kirby are practically artists..lol.
I got to ride in it when Brandon came over to get the camera. It does indeed sound awesome. I have the same setup but dual Flowmasters. Yours sounds better and eliminated that rasp even more so. I may go with those mufflers in the future.

Yeah the more I drive in it the more I like it. It really sounds kick *** compared to the y setup.
Edit: I forgot a key word....I meant to say that it's NOT loud enough, though.....

It sounds really good with the cam, normally where the rasp would be it sounds like a gllllllll instead. It is kinda loud but it sounds so good I don't mind it. Can't go wrong with the duals. I can't wait till I get my heads in to see how it sounds then.

K here is a link to some pics. Vince the heads will be on in a couple of weeks. I am gonna have Al do them and then I'll get it tuned in Tampa. Hopefully all goes well there, Brandon was telling me that they will check for P/V clearance with my 224 and they will let me know if I can go bigger safely with no flycutting.

I'm not sure how to get them to come up in the post to where you dont have to click on the link but if any of you know how just tell me and/or do it so I can get them into the thread. They guys that made the exhaust took better pictures so hopefully they do post them here cause they really are good to look at.

Re: Just got my true duals installed!!!
I guess I'll be the one to say it The pics are too small and a wee bit on the dark side to really appreciate what you got there Mike. Just hearing how happy you are with the setup though puts me one step closer to liking the True Duals. Any drone with them on the big road?
Hopefully we'll get to see some better pics!
