Saved me headache, time and shipment cost dealing w/ the company that made my header.

I have the same problem as the OP and considered JB Weld, but didnt think that it could withstand the hot *** temps. headers would put it thru. What brand was this "exhaust leak sealer?" I might try this instead of pulling my headers and sending them back to Pacesetter.

the place i bought them from contacted pacesetter and are waiting to hear back from them. looks like i should be able to get a new set. i have a lift, so i dont mind replacing them. gives me a chance to put v-clamps on the collectors and maybe this time i'll do the motor mounts. put this stimulus check to good use

Well I looked reeeeeally good, but I just couldn't find where pacesetter hid the new ones in the packaging, nor do I recall seeing that in the instructions, or on their website.
I asked in a couple of forums about running solid motor mounts, but 80% of the replies were not to do them unless you like jiggling in your seat and possible teeth chatter when running a large cam at every intersection you come to.
So yes they're stock.

Why whould they include them? That's right, they're an EXHAUST company.

Buy poly motor mounts. You may have to spend a little extra for them, which I am sure may kill some of you, but it will cure the banging. Solid is another option, which I went with.

I've had mine on the car for 4 years now and now leaks. They ARE starting to rust, though, despite being "coated"...

Company name, Versachem- Exhaust system crack, leak sealer. Its like JBweld but it is made for exhaust system. I found it at exhaust aisle in AutoZone.

Then why should I have to take an exhaust kit made specifially for my car to ANOTHER exhaust company to get it to fit correctly without it hitting the floor?

Like mom always said, "Do it right the first time....."

that looks nothing like an exhaust leak. if it was an exhaust leak it would have black soot in it. that looks like water dripping on the header from the a/c system.

You might be right but the OP says he feels and hears a leak. FWIW I've seen QTP's leak form there also.

I think it's a must when doing longtubes to put in atleast poly motormounts. Might as well, with the Hookers I have the driver's side motor mount had to be unbolted to get the header in. I got the kit they sell at the WS6 Store, it's not that expensive.
BTW my headers leaked also when I put them on at the collector on the driver's side. I had them rewelded on the inside by a friend of mine and had him grind down the weld to smooth it out. Has done OK so far for 2 years.
