I doubt those ramps are tall enough.

The lowest I have ever done a header install was with the front wheels 8" off the ground but that was supporting the car by the k member.

Im gonna say no. You can prob do pretty much everything but getting the headers in w/ those though. If you can borrow a jack/stands for 30 min, thats all youd need it for.

Ha...ok Mr. Know-It-All.

It actually depends on what brand headers you have. QTPs have to be pretty much vertical to go in. Do that with only 10" ramps.

bro i just did it on ramps. All you have to do is jack the rear up so the car is level on the ramps and jack stands. No need to have the front higher than the ramps, just level the rear out and you will have enough room.

Ahhh you see that must be the key. I know when I did mine there was no way just ramps would have been high enough. The brand might have to do with it a little too.

You must have gotten lucky. I've installed Pacesetters on 3 Camaros. The driver side does slide in with little clearance..but the passenger side is the real problem. I had to use my normal 15" floor jack, with 2 piece of 2x4" wood on top of it..so 19" of lift was enough.

No way it could have been done with less because the collector would hit the ground.

no i used my floor jack, i dont think it was much more than 10 inches off the ground... to the bottom of the wheels. it was suspended on the a arms. and i got it in easier than the driver side.

Ohhhh ok...I think I might have gotten confused, or maybe other people in the thread then.

If you are measuring 10" from the bottom of the tires with the car behind held up by the chassis, then that is plenty of room.... but the car on 10" ramps is different because the suspension is loaded then.

the key is to have the rear end up too. Mine wouldnt go in until I jacked the rear level with the front. Then they easily slid in.

Truestatement, I put in QTPs a few months ago. The driverside for sure has to be vertical to go in. Not a bad install, just a fact.

I just did mine a couple weeks ago and found 20" off the ground perfect height for getting the headers up. Mine were xs headers.
