Default Are these the right heads???

I'm looking at gettin some Ls6 heads but needed to know if these are the right ones?? 2007 LS Style Cylinder Heads


Set of 2007 OEM LS Style Cylinder Heads.These heads are the highly sought after "243 Z06 Castings". The combustion chambers is 64cc and raised D-port exhaust ports are just a few of it's features. The heads flow stock at 250cfm on the intake ports and 200 cfm on the exhaust ports. The heads feature a 2.00 inch Intake Valve and a 1.55 inch Exhaust Valve. The Valve Springs themselves are capable of handeling lift up to .550 inches.These heads have been known to add as much as 15-25 horsepower with no other mods. If you add the right camshaft, these heads and cam can add as much as 50-75 horsepower to your car or truck application

When you see 243 casting on the heads what is that.???

Those are ls6 heads. How much are you paying for them?

They started putting those heads on newer trucks a couple years back. They will work just fine on your car.

I saw them on ebay. I haven't paid for nothing yet, I'm just looking right now. I'm planning on getting some Ls6 heads, Tr224 cam and a 3500 stall in about 3 weeks for my DD. I did some searching and read alot about DD with a 3500 stall and 224 cam. Am I missing anything....what about springs,lifters and pushrods. Car has 91k

Should I replace anything else in the tranny when I do the stall???

DON'T get those ebay heads!

I just sent mine back. One of the two he sent me had chunks taken out of all major sealing surfaces. The replacement he sent had used (2 damaged) valves in the "new" head. Not the deal I thought they were. I bought the patriot spring kit to put in them so I was pretty much up to the same cost as the patriot heads.. now factor in machine work it wasn't worth it. I sent the heads back and will sell the spring kit and buy a nice set of heads.

Who did you get the heads from, so i can avoid the hassel?
