Yea for sure bud have you ever felt your throttle body when your car is running. Found that one out the hard way burn..lol But now when I touch it it is actually cool while the engine would be hot surprised me alot to be honest . All you have to do is get 2 and 1/2 feet of 5/8 tubing and run it from the radiatior by the over flow to the drivers side back bar and leave the the throttle body ones open. cake
And on the further talk yes the factory guage sucks but mine did show a big noticable drop in temp after the 160 degree thermostat and electrical fans and throttle body bypass...

with stock fan settings and a 160 thermo mine ran 230 to 235 in traffic with the air on in 90 degrees. lowest it would see was 220 on the interstate. i had the fan settings changed to 198 on and it runs between that and 205. my fan stays on almost all the time now i think.

Also keep in mind that 160 is when the T-Stat opens..not the temp your car is gaurenteed to run at.

Any reason why they run warm? I heard that the LS1's perfer to run warm 200-210 temps compared to 170-190 temps.
