Once again, another exhaust thread plagues ls1tech.com! :p
What I'm looking for is an exhaust that will be loud and still retain a nice low tone to it as well as giving off a nice deep gurgle at idle. I'm in love with the deep popping sound the stock WS6 exhaust makes when I hold the clutch in and let the RPMs drop from up high it just isn't loud enough.
My future plans for exhaust involve going long tube headers (Kooks, most likely).
I was originally planning on going TSP true duals with sweet thunders because videos I've heard of it are just mouth dropping, but I'm afraid it may be a bit TOO loud and I will be constantly harassed by cops. I want loud, just not loud that will make me a mobile ticket station, but not so low that you can't hear me from 10 feet away.
I've liked videos I've heard of the Borlas so far and I see a lot of people rave about GMMGs, but what exhaust out of all the ls1 f-bod ones available will give me a deep, loud tone while retaining a nice low idle gurgle. I want them to sound good after going to long tubes also. (Cats are optional because I will be tuning the codes out with a tuning software when i get the money later on)
It may be a long post, but I'm looking for a sound that I will love for years.
I have listened to a lot of the videos on ls1sounds.com
On another note, I love most of the videos I have heard of Borlas, what are your guys opinion on the Borla system? How can you explain the sound in person? How does it sound with long tubes with ory or catted y?
Other than the TSP with sweet thunders Borla are next on my list.

Not sure about them yet.
It was a custom Y-pipe I had built before anyone was selling e-cut out y-pipes.. Pacesetters, Dual e-cutouts, 3" cats, knecked down to 2 1/2" exhaust in to a flow master dual 2 1/2" to single 3" Y collector, over the axle in to a hooker aerochamber muffler.
You can here when I open the cut outs..

I've heard that a lot of people hate Borlas when combined with a LT and an ORY, but I've also read that replacing the ORY with a high flow catted Y gives the Borlas a nice, bearable, tone. Any personal experience with a catted LT Borla setup?
but if you click the link in my sig, it was my old TD set up. H and 1 chambers.
i need to get a sound clip of my new exhasut
