Default Pacesetter ORY

Ordered some Pacesetter headers today from Texas Speed and was going to get the TSP ory but they were out of stock. Will the Pacesetter ORY work fine on my car or should I wait for the TSP? I plan on lowering the car in the future. Just wanting some input on the Pacesetter ORY. Thanks.

I've had both Y pipes. Definitely go with the Pacesetter one if you're planning on lowering your car.

Pacesetter Y had no problems with ground clearance. I didn't do my motor mounts so the y bangs the floor a little under the driver side.

Get the pacesetter if you have ground clearance issues and get the tsp for the performance. I had a pacesetter ofr y on mine and When I did true duals I used the part of the y and found that the were the one pipe is welded to the other there is a 1 1/2in peice of steel from the tubing putting a nice block in the flow. The pacestter is a pos in my opinion.

I have hooker headers, pacesetter ory and lm. I was amazed by the ground clearance with the ory and mine does not hit or bang the floorboard and iv got stock mounts, guess im one of the lucky ones.

I had a tsp catted y before the ory and it was kind of a pain in the *** to adjust and hung too low for my liking.

thanks for the input, with the blockage in the pipe im assuming you just reach up the pipe and cut the part out then, and how hard is it to change the motor mounts?

You can clean up the inside of the pacesetter Y with a dremmel. It takes a while but I think it's worth it. Mine does bang the floor and poly mounts should help. I have some but haven't installed them yet. They are a pain in the *** to install but if your doing headers, that is the time to do it. They aren't very expensive. The only potential downside to the poly mounts is increased vibration inside the car. But to me that would be better than the Y banging on the floor causing knock retard and loss of power, which is where I am at the moment.
