Anyone tried GM's so called newer version of the PCV valve out for our cars? I see that the WS6 Store says it has this mo betta version.

The so called "newer pcv valve" isn't so new, it's been out for years. First on trucks and then guys started using them on other applications. Some say it helps cut down oil consumption, some say it doesn't do squat and others claim it will blow your seals out. I have no idea. Do a search for the part number 12572717 and you'll find some good reading. And actually, it's not really a valve, it's more of an orifice.

I kept the back piece to keep pressure from building up and put a breather where the oil cap goes . Also cap and plug on the intake front pass. valve cover and throttle body .
Have not had any problems just use good oil and dont skip oil changes .
