Re: Quietest Possible Exhaust I was just kiddin around. You always hear about people runnin bullets in the y or ipipe to kill the rasp. Why not do both? I prefer to run a big muffler in the stock location and put the weight where you want it.
I have a mac headers, ory with a 3" 1oftl ultraflo catback. It has a good sound and is cheap. A little loud but no rasp.

Re: Quietest Possible Exhaust Borla XS...its what I have......Same as stock sound without the rasp....my installer thought it was quieter. Its also inexpesive but built awesome. The perfect muffler for what your looking for!

lol we are talking about a quiet catback like the SLP dual dual and then 4 bullets. 2 in the Y and 2 in the I if possible. Now that is gonna be quiet.
Re: Quietest Possible Exhaust Yeah, dont take this thread to seriously. Just messin around. Imagine havin a 422-427 with 4 mufflers. Youd probably wouldnt even be able to hear the cam. Tell everyone its stock with just a lid. 
Re: Quietest Possible Exhaust I used a set of hooker long tubes and hooker y with a cut out to a stock ss exhaust it was pretty loud but not as loud as a set of after market exhuast but if i ever wanted power i would just open the cut out.
