Default Where to find an 85mm MAF?

I am looking for the Delphi 85mm MAF. I did a search and found that most people get theirs off ebay, so I checked ebay and couldn't find specicically what I was looking for. There were quite a few delphi MAF's but I don't know if they were the 85mm ones that can be found on the zo6's. If anyone could help me out or post up a link to the right one, I would greatly appreciate it.

From what I have read the stock MAF starts to become a restriction when you are making over 400rwhp, and I am a decent amount over that even with the stocker.

No its like 75mm, but if hes making alot of power, he might have a 90/90 setup....so 85mm MAF would possibly be sutted better for his application.

Interesting because I am putting over 530 rwhp and I still use the stock maf. I would leave it alone. There are plenty of threads on the maf out there.

Well, to each their own. You can make 550rwhp on the stock MAF with no problems generally, like Urban said. Don't expect a gain out of it though. The Z06 MAF is the GM/Delphi 85mm. And sorry you had to lose "Jett Favre".

Yeah, I have heard all the threads about guys making 500 + rwhp through the stock MAF. Hell I was one of them. I obviously don't doubt that they can handle making that much power, but I believe that it is still restricting the engine to a point. My lid, tb, and intake are all 90mm, so why go down to 75mm in between. Ill let you guys know if I see any gains, I already know what it makes with the stocker and within a couple weeks I am going to have it dyno tuned with the bigger MAF.

I say good riddens to Favre. I remember just as many games that HE lost, as HE himself took over and won.

You're putting down 530 rwhp because you are supercharged, which makes things not quite apples to apples here.

Just because you can make a specific hp with a stock maf, doesn't mean that there isn't more power to be had switching to a larger maf.

I bet you could make 530hp using an ls1 intake manifold, but I bet you'd make more with a better manifold. Same thing with exhaust. I bet you could make 530rwhp with stock exhaust manifolds, but I'd bet you'd make more with headers.

If you are trying to argue that a stock maf can support in terms of electronics 530rwhp, then your argument is sound, but I think you are trying to say that the maf isn't a restriction and you have proof because you are making 530rwhp and you have a stock maf. That argument isn't exactly sound.

To the original poster, there is definite power to be made with going to a larger diameter maf. It's not different than if you put on long tube headers, a loud mouth exhaust, but put in a 2" catted ypipe. It's all about flow potential, and since you have a bigger intake manifold, throttle body, and lid, by all means, go larger with the maf.
