Throttle Body Liners? WTF?
Thanks A quote from the sales literature:
"..changed the shape of the entrance to build up a higher velocity charge at each given RPM. This allows the intake charge force in the manifold to be increased = increased throttle response and added torque and power under the curve where you can use it."
Higher velocity for a given rpm means a smaller opening, and less wide open throttle airflow. Obviously the liner makes the flow area smaller. Generally porting an LS-1 TB increases the flow as well as reshapes the interior. Less overall airflow generally means less max power.

if you look close at the display pic, it looks like the cuts for the AIC and EVAP system.....but I would think it would whistle liks crazy...
unlike a epoxy and port job, this is filling up the TB (making it smaller than 75mm) so you will get even less flow.....and "increasing" velocity (making the TB smaller) won't really increase low end (I know the larger 80mm BBK didn't hurt low end) because you still have the long runners of the intake to build low end....
I say its like that little "Tornado" thing that you stick in your intake to "build 10 hp"...
