Very bad sounding noise what is it?
Very bad sounding noise what is it? I think the noise is a o2 sensor or the cat. the noise is like a lound rattleing that i can only hear when the car is not moving, on the highway you would never know, but when i stop its loud, at idle and if i raise the rpms the louder it gets what is this noise has anyone else had this happen they are all original parts with 80,000 miles thank you 
GM has an 8 year 80k warranty on the cats. I'm sure it's the 8 year but the milage may be off, not sure. If so if you have a good dealer they can do some changing VINs and such if you are over the milage to get the cats for free. That just depends on the dealer though.

At least mine was, I got the letter from GM right after I removed all my stock stuff for ARH headers...
It doesn't matter that you're not the original owner. I believe Weezzer is correct on the yr and mileage extension. I'm sure it's worth a trip or call to the dealer to find out for sure.
