fast help! how to properly seal egr hole in intake
ok i took out my egr valve and i have the block off on the exhaust with no problem. well the intake is a little different, i made a piece of metal to go over the hole and im getting some leaks. car sounds sweet, like its caming, but i know it shouldnt be idling that low. do i need a piece of gasket for the plate or what? let me know, thanks

Use a re-usable rubber freeze plug, you can get them at any parts store... can't remember the dia. But it has a nut on top to tighten and expand the plug to seal the hole. Worked perfect.
The guy i bought my car from did this... great idea.

Take the freeze plug out of the EGR hole. Tighten the nut to expand the plug to the point where when you try to put it back in the EGR hole its a very tight fit and you almost have to "beat" it in. Then tighten the nut some more. It will expand some more w/o spinning on you.
