the flow on a ls6 intake runner is about 260 .the intake runeer of a stock non ported FAST is 270 . as far as the cfm of a 90mm tb i am not sure of . really the intake restricts the flow of the heads as most decent heads flow around 300cfm .

TPIS got almost the same gains as the FAST in power by using an ls6 intake modified with a 90mm TB

so my guess is the TB is the first restriction...then the runners

I think he is referring to what area is more important to port?

If so, like said about the chicken & the egg. Both are needed to work properly together.

understood...what im actually getting at is there is less flow in the t/b area then we simply need to get more air comming into the intake...if its the runners then not much more we can do

if its the t/b area then nitrous guys would have a big benefit of spraying the nitrous after the t/b so its that much less that has to make it through the t/b...if its the runners the keep using nozzels and spray through the t/b

we never did it yesterday; my boy forgot to do what i told him, do his homework, and he didn't have the coolant lines we needed.

We also never did the header install b/c the toolbag that was supposed to let us use his lift never showed up. . it took me over an hour to convince my friend that installing them on jack stands was a bad idea , esp considering that he DIDN'T soak the bolts the night before (like i told him to), we had NO air tools, and he was cutting off the rest of his exhaust...
