Finished the 100MM lid (with pics)
Most lids are made out of ABS or plastic some out of lexan. Expanding the neck won't net you much power. Remember you don't want the MAF to sit inside the lid, you want to have a smooth transition from the lid to the MAF to get better MAF readings and overall make more power.
For the guys that own UPD lids (Old lids sold at TSP). You could expand the neck to 100mm, you might have to add some epoxy where the lid is glued together to make up for the expansion from 92mm to 100.

re finished the whole thing inside and out i repainted it and its perfectly smooth, not sure on dyno # but i went with a 85mm MAF for now. hope to get a 90/90 fast again and the 100mm MAF to optimize the output of the ram air 
the hood is very close to the box and no other way to run the inlet pipe. I actually think its making my TB bypas rub on my water pump pulley @ WOT
