Default New Exhaust Hand built by me!

Here comes a couple of pictures of my new stainles steel exhaust, custom made by me. Random Tech "3 catalytic converters, 2 * "3 pipes that comes together in an "3,5 inch y-pipe.
Fits perfect after 2 evenings in the garage. Just need to build a new cut out from the "3,5 pipe.
But i might get me an other Y-pipe and put an 35 degre pipe on it, and then the QTP cut out.

I am still using the SLP mufler and CME.

I dont tink you can get a Ypipe exhaust that flows mutch bether than this!

Compared to the Pace seter Y-pipe

It looks so nice!

Looks very good. Not to put you down, but might want to clean up those welds a little bit. Have you checked it for leaks? Still looks very good though. Is that a Flowmaster merge?

Yes i will do that! I ran out of gas to the MIG so i could not finish it and neither did I have the time to night to grinde the welds.. but to morrow i will! be so sure I will brush the exhaust as well during winter.

With my non existant welding skills....I would take a month just to learn it decently enough to try it, and it will still come out fucked up lol.

Thanks guys! My welds are far from perfect. And if you want to lern welding get a welder, and use scrap mettal and just start welding. And dont be afraid of trying. The first thing i welded was the floor board in my old chevelle. Just try it out and it will work great;

I am a welder, but a grinder is a welders friend. Even experienced welders make mistakes. No big deal to grind them down, just dont take them all the way down unless you know you got complete penetration with no sugar on the inside.

I wouldnt knock his welding skills...

That is stainless he is welding with a MIG... A little different than doing it with a tig.

Great work man. Way to tackle something yourself!

Thanks man! Since the pictures i have clened the welds several times, re Welded, clened and sow on and now it looks sweet!

I was able to fire upp the car today! First I did it wit the y pipe without the rest of the system! and damn! she sounds mean as hell! Got to get the cutout mounted! And then i fired it up with the SLP silencer on. I sounds good and mean, but not loud at all! perfect for higway use. But still if you rev her she sings as beautifulll as always!!
