Default 85mm MAF needed with my setup?

I still have the stock MAF. With my mods in my sig, do you think that the stock MAF is killing my hp? Or is it not really worth it? Anybody have any real world gains from a bigger unit on a built engine?

The car is tuned now (not real great) and I'm trying to get setup with HPTuners now but I was just trying to figure out if I have some intake restrictions. I'm trying to get a little deeper into the 11s before taking weight out of the car.

Besides the MAF, I think I should be feeding the engine just fine?

The intake is only as good as the weakest link, its like having a 78mm tb and intake still, its still only going through a 78mm maf...I have the SLP 85mm maf, did not need tuning that i ever noticed, ran fine. You can get a used one really cheap..mine was about $90

You must live around the KC area? I got my car tuned at MC racing too. Yeah, that makes sense... I'll start shopping for a bigger MAF

Do you have a link for that?

OP, i would go for the 85mm MAF.... but then again you are only at 419 RWHP. the stocker is good for 500 HP... Fvck it go for it..

You will need to get a new lid to hook up with the 85mm MAF

Default Lid and MAF

If you are going to do the 85mm MAF, your best bet is to get our 85mm Air lid as well. That will give you the best air flow upgrade and eliminates the need for any couplers between the lid and MAF.

Nice gain hawk!! I think my 90/90 (which i see you have now as well) would pick up a little bit more too. Damn your car is kicking my car's ***! And I have quite a bit more done. It must like the gears! I'm still 3.23 out back. Your car must be lightened quite a bit!?

I still can't believe you are running so well. We are running identical times, mph, 60ft. and I'm making alot more power than you are. 447rwhp and 403rwtq. How much does your car weigh? Mine weighs 3600 with me in it..
