Before I opened this thread I thought it was "aftermarket rearend with gears, or LTs." Since you meant just gears with your 10-bolt, to me it's a no-brainer. Get the LTs and start saving for a 12-bolt or 9" with 4.10s/ 4.11s.
If the thread was what I had thought, another no-brainer, aftermarket rear with 4.10s/ 4.11s. You'd get much more of a performance bump with the gears, plus they're just so much damn fun.
