Hear they don't flow anywhere near an ls6, and heat soak kills your air charge...I would either go ls6 or if you did want to go aluminum spend a little more and go weiand or BBK..At least they can both be ported and port matched to your heads later on...

For the price I got on a polished one with polished 85 tb from a member I beat what LS6s alone go for. Thats the only reason I went PP the install did not go smooth and I had to powdercoat the intake because the polish was a little too rough. I did get it right with help and additional parts and it really pulled up top. Then my trans went and I got a 3500 stall and a rebuild and it pulled all over and it felt great. Then a month and a half goes by and my engine went! I will be reusing it for my longblock and it will pull even harder. Heres a pic of the powder coat in anodized blue.

They also make anodized polished and chrome frc for this intake now too!

The pro prod. can be ported as well. The bottom panel comes off.

Just search Profesional Products. They have fixed all the issues they did have. Gaskets and such.... The posts I have read say they make decent power, even over an ls6. I wish more people would try this intake myself. I keep thinking about running the 96mm one. Still on the fence.

Anyway, if you go with it. Post up some results. Most people I read on here don't run them because of he said-she said and have no experience with the intake.

Its not that bad of an intake . I have one. It flows pretty nice I cleaned up the runners a little just cause I didint want to swap it on right away. It makes more power up top, but I noticed a little less down low as the dyno's show when compared to an ls6. It will do very well after a cam swap though which Ill be doin over the winter.
