NATE

As i would love to see if this intake would take my new 427 C5R block, Ls6 headed hyd. roller cam to that magic number of 500rwhp on my 98 automatic vette, let me know if we can work something out regarding my car serving as a test mule, etc.

No problem once we get it tested on a couple of other cars I will let you know. Did you get your car back yet?

The motor its on is a 427 solid roller MONSTER. A car thet was built by GMMG. It ended up putting down 590rwhp.
Will that car pass emissions?? J/K

Seriously- sounds like its a hell of a machine someone's got there...

QUICKIN,

Hey Brother, if your referring to me i did not receive any email from you but would be glad to answer any question about my S1 cam if you have one.

I clicked on your log-in name and sent you an e-mail that way.
Got a current e-mail address for me?

Nate,

As we speak my baby with its new C5R 427 block is on its way home via transporter from MTI and should arrive at my home by this Saturday morning!

Quickin,

Can email me at Nitrovette@aol.com and it seems like your cam is very similar to the MTI S1.

Yes it WAS sold by LS1Speed they no longer have it and they never had one that made any power. I have tried several differant designs and have about 10 that do not work. Its not made by RGR either RGR is there head porter, machinist. It is not sold by a lot of venders. At the moment it is not sold at all. At first it will only be available through us. Then select shops.

I am a small speed shop that deals mainly in LS1 cars and trucks 90% of my clients are Vettes.
I work in conjuntion with the fabricator that is making these. We make a lot of specialty parts for Corvettes and F-bodies. I do all the wrenching he does all the fabrication.

MADBOOST:

Awe......you be surprised how much my 6 pt roll bar helps with the rigidity of my Vette Vert. Actually, my autotransporter will be calling me Sat. morning regarding what time he has arrived in elmhurst, where i then will be meeting him at the dominicks parking lot at st charles and rt 83. Email me your phone number if you want to check the car out as i will call you sat. morning and let yhou know what time i am picking up my beast at the aformentioned .,location! After pick up its off to powerhouse perf in orland park to put on my drag radials while the et streets and skinnines on the car now will not be optimal for 500 beakin miles on the highway. Then off to the car wash and then some breakin miles and the first car show i can find, as the season is winding down and i enjoy hitting the car shows in the area and burning some good rubber on my way there!

FWIW guys, I'd like to see the dyno run. Not trying to cause trouble but I tried the same type of manifold on my 427 and it made about 25 more hp on my A4 on the rollers. But everything below peak TQ was way down, way way down.

I don't think this type of manifold would work on a 346 unless it was a race only motor.

The plenum on the manifold pictured looks bigger than the one I have and that could help it some.

Ok, Try this link out to see the pics.

<a href="http://hauln.net/LS1Tech/NastyPerformance/index.htm" target="_blank"><font color="red">Nasty Performance Intake<!--color--></font></a>
This manifold is basically the same as the LS-Spyder http://www.mrnitrous.com/LS-SPYDER%20MANIFOLD.htm and the LS-Super Spyder http://www.mrnitrous.com/LS-SUPER%20SPYDER.htm correct?

Now am I correct in stating that none of these intakes will show any gains on a H/C 346?

Please enlighten us mentally handicapped!
