Default Ebay Head stud kit

I saw this kit on ebay for 97-04 Ls1 blocks and I was wondering if anyone here has used them?

hmm..
never seen those before,
but if you compare they are alredy stronger than the stock TTY GM uses on the stock ls engines. i would say i have considered them for a build now.
if they are better than the stock bolts alredy i wouldnt see any harm using them in a mild non forced induction motor.
on my watching list

I would stay away from those. I wouldn't trust a generic ebay part to hold my heads down....

If I were on a TIGHT budget I might try them, but for peace of mind I'm glad I went with ARP Head Studs. Maybe read some of his feedback and see if anyone has had a problem with them. But you gotta remember and I know you've heard it, "You get what you pay for.". Skimping and cutting corners on a engine build will spell $ and disaster later. Just my 2 cents.

I do not plan on forced induction so I said why not? I wanted head studs because I hate cleaning the damn bolt holes. lol

if u dont mind, when u install them, make thread or post here about, fit, quality, finish, etc. im sure it would help out many.
i have used grade 8 bolts on ls1 motors before with no probs. however the head size correct thread bolts are hard to find.
i even use allens bolts to replace the 10mm bolts found on the covers and such

I would buy them. The user does have good feedback, and as long as they include torque specs for the bolts you should be fine.

i bought some also. The seller claims they are just as good as arp and have been tested over and over again on nitrous, turbo, and n/a setups. they are reusable he said they are of the same quality of arp but not paying for the name.
