What are you looking for out of the cam. Are you looking for a max effort cam or are you looking for more hp/tq in a certain part of the power band? Give me some more details on what you are wanting and we can get a cam spec'd to meet your needs!

i was a little dissapointed in my results from my Torquer V.3 only put down 383rwhp.....363TQ....i was hoping to get more like 400-410rwhp....wanting to get a cam that has alot of low end power for acceleration for 1/4 mile racing....but at the same time i want a cam with good driving manners b/c the car is a daily driver.....also to help u the other supporting mods are Pacesetter LT, TSP ORY, and a SLP lid

maybe the answer is not in buying a new cam but in upgrading your current heads.
the heads will not harm drive-ability and will definitely get you to your goals.

you could even go with a smaller cam and the heads will still get you to where you want to go (depending on which heads you get)

Swapping that cam for a different one is not gonna make a huge jump in power. What type of dyno and what other mods do you have?

You definitely have some room to open up the power potential of the current setup with a few more bolt ons. The lid, a good free flowing catback, a ported throttlebody, and underdrive pulley will get you in the area of 400-410HP. Heads will likely put you above that, but won't be optimized until you get all the supporting mods.

TSP true duel's, Magnaflow 3in cat back, or put in a cut-out after the Y pipe which is about 150 bucks.

You already have the right cam. I am guessing you have the ls6 intake on your car. You definetly need to work on your exhaust considering that cam really needs a free flowing exhaust. You can buy a cut out for like $40 and have it welded in at any exhaust shop for $50 and that would probably put you up to the 400+ hp mark easy. Then get you an under drive pulley and some stage 2.5 5.3 heads and your looking at 430-440 rwhp easy

Get the cat back with that and the lid you'll see a few more ponies I run that cam with cats and I put down 404, when it was getting tuned he told me I would pick up about 5-7rw if I did not have th cats. Who tuned it that could be an issue also.

Nothing wrong with your choice of cam. You just need to put together a better "overall" package...

The stock catback doest even flow enough for the stock ls1 so its really choking your setup. I say add an electric cutout and leave the stock catback on with some nice tips.

You definitely need a catback. Back when my car only had a lid, I added one of our Rumbler catbacks and it picked up ~15RW. Imagine what kind of gains you would see with a cam car. There are quite a few catbacks to choose from that flow really well. Hooker, Magnaflow, our Rumbler catback, and our Rumbler True Dual system all flow really well. You really shouldn't have a problem reaching your goal. Just finish off the bolt-ons. The next step up for a cam would be an MS3 or MS4. You would see a gain out of either one over the T3 you have. I would also look into a set of heads. A head swap would give you more power than a cam swap would. The PRC 5.3s would work well with the T3.
