No mill will be safe with stock 5.3 heads and gaskets with a 112lsa 108icl cam(the standard one). It's petty much meant to max out the opportunity and clearance of a stock head and gasket. Since yours is a 114lsa, if you have a 110icl(4 degrees advanced) you should be able to mill .010" max.

Just check your valve drop before you bolt your heads on.

I would mill ~15-30 thou depending on your tuning possibiliteis, available gas, and head gasket thickness and then flycut the necessary amount

Why mill???? If you go with the right head porter...he should be able to get 11:1 CR unmilled.

Would you be able to sink the valves a little and maybe free up some room to mill a tad???
