What mill on 5.3 heads would you reccomend for G5X2 cam?

What mill on 5.3 heads would you reccomend for G5X2 cam? Well its a clone cam. 232/240 595/609 LSA114 I'm looking at 5.3 stage 2 heads. thanks

Re: What mill on 5.3 heads would you reccomend for G5X2 cam? No mill will be safe with stock 5.3 heads and gaskets with a 112lsa 108icl cam(the standard one). It's petty much meant to max out the opportunity and clearance of a stock head and gasket. Since yours is a 114lsa, if you have a 110icl(4 degrees advanced) you should be able to mill .010" max.

I would mill ~15-30 thou depending on your tuning possibiliteis, available gas, and head gasket thickness and then flycut the necessary amount

Would you be able to sink the valves a little and maybe free up some room to mill a tad???
